Who we are

Be The Good was established in 2023. This charity has been operating under its former name, For the Love, since 2017. Be the Good will continue to support underprivileged students and families, as well as nursing home residents and other community members who are often unseen and unheard.

What people
are saying

“For the love has been so much a support to our many foster Kids. They have been there and provided any need these kids have at Rocky Mountain Kids. Everything from Christmas presents, school supplies and even masks for all our kids and staff in our current crisis. They are a fantastic organization that cares so much about helping people.”

— Felice, Executive Director Rocky Mountain Kids, Inc.

I don’t know how to thank you and the program for everything you guys did to help make my family's Christmas special! It is so appreciated, we feel so blessed right now. There is so much more than I expected! Everyone went above and beyond and we all know Christmas is not about the stuff, but the kids will be so excited and so pleasantly surprised! Please pass on our gratitude to everyone who participated in this program.”

— Mother of Seven Children

We seriously cannot thank you enough. We are so incredibly grateful for so many kindnesses, blessings, and the outpouring of love we have felt.”

— Family of Eight

“We have donated to For the Love in Colorado Springs for a few years now. They are an amazing organization! Their Christmas present program is a tender example of the love they share for children in foster care. They are incredibly organized and go to great lengths to ensure the children’s voices are heard. They provide detailed lists that make purchasing gifts so easy. As a contributor, I find great joy in knowing the presents we buy are exactly what the child wants/needs. Every child deserves to feel valued and remembered on Christmas Day. For the Love does just that! We are happy to have a small part in something so great.”

— Ginet, Donor and Volunteer

“The sight of the gift preparation space, stuffed to the gills with clothes, presents, food and supplies for the most vulnerable and alone in our city is simultaneously heart breaking and heart bursting. The love and care with each gift is palpable. This is such an incredible opportunity to really make a difference to real kids and real families, right in our neighborhood, and it's a humbling privilege to give to For The Love every year.”

— Amy, Donor and Volunteer

“Prairie Hills Elementary wants to thank you for your support of our families for the holidays. Your generosity and caring means so much!”

— Jennifer Horn, Prairie Hills Elementary School Counselor
